Moreirense FC, the heart of Moreira de Cónegos, have fought their way into the Primeira Liga through hard work. At the Parque de Jogos Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas the club shows its fighting qualities week after week.
Since their founding in 1938 the club has achieved great things with modest means. Moreirense are a symbol of the unshakeable will of smaller clubs to hold their own against the big names.
Often cast as outsiders, they have become the pride of their community and are always capable of a surprise. Here football is lived and loved.
