RC Strasbourg Alsace, founded in 1906, are the pride of Alsace and play at the Stade de la Meinau. With a rich history that includes national honours, the club has a loyal following that cheers the team to the final whistle.
Particularly memorable was the 2001 Coupe de France win, unforgettable for many supporters. The streets of Strasbourg were decked out when the team lifted the trophy and sent the city into celebration.
The club's shirts are a talking point too. An iconic yellow strip from the 1990s has stayed in the memory of many fans. Creative designs today set a distinctive style that underlines the link between football and culture.
