CD Nacional, the pride of Madeira, have been bringing the island's spirit to the Portuguese mainland for decades. At the Estádio da Madeira they fight passionately for points and results.
Founded in 1910, Nacional have earned a firm place in the Primeira Liga over the years. The club is especially proud of its link to Cristiano Ronaldo, who took his first footballing steps here.
Nacional may not be among the country's giants, but they show again and again that they are capable of great things. Their matches are a piece of Madeira on the football pitch.
