Hull City AFC, founded in 1904, are the only professional football club in the city of Hull on the Humber estuary. The Tigers play their home games at the ground in the west of the city.
The greatest achievement in the club's history is reaching the FA Cup final in 2014, which was followed by a European campaign. Hull City have played in the Premier League on several occasions.
The fans stand by their club in good times and bad — and in Hull there have been plenty of both.
