Juventus FC, also known as Juve, are the pride of Turin and trace their roots back to 1897. At the Allianz Stadium, opened in 2011, the club plays in a modern setting that reflects its tradition and its successes. Juventus have a considerable history at home and abroad, with numerous Serie A titles and Champions League appearances.
The Old Lady has produced a string of legendary players, among them Alessandro Del Piero and Michel Platini. A notable episode from more recent times is the Calciopoli affair, in which Juventus were stripped of the 2006 title. Yet as the saying goes, „once Juve, always Juve“ — and the return to Serie A was only a matter of time.
The fans, known as the Bianconeri, are famous for their passion and loyalty. The black and white stripes are instantly recognisable, as is the tireless support of a crowd that sticks together in difficult times too.
