Bologna FC 1909, founded — as the name says — in 1909, have a proud tradition in Italian football. The Rossoblù play at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara and have won many honours in the past, including several league titles.
One unforgettable moment was the Scudetto of the 1960s, which made Bologna one of the leading clubs in Italy. Fans particularly enjoy recalling the fixtures against rivals such as Inter and AC Milan, always fiercely contested.
The city of Bologna is also famous for its cooking, the perfect finish to a tense football match. A visit to one of the traditional restaurants afterwards is a must — the calories burned while cheering have to be replaced somehow.
